Discovered Just in Time
Savannah was discovered by chance when her former owners attempted to sell her as a riding horse. She was far too weak to safely carry a saddle, much less a rider.
A concerned prospective buyer reported Savannah's condition and shared that another horse on the property appeared to be in even greater need. When Red Clay Ranch approached the owners, they surrendered both horses, making it clear that they were unable to provide the food and care the horses desperately needed.
Strength Restored
Once Savannah arrived at Red Clay Ranch and was given consistent food and care, she quickly began regaining her weight and strength.
Today, Savannah is healthy, beautiful, and full of affection. Her transformation reflects the difference that safety, proper nourishment, and compassionate lifelong care can make for a horse in need.
